The SP Endurance takes the popular SP Australian Stock Saddle design and adds thoughtful features specifically for endurance, trail, and distance riders.

Built on a flexible leather tree with adjustable panels, the SP Endurance provides the secure, structured feel riders love about the original SP while offering a lighter, more streamlined setup for spending long hours in the saddle.

SP Endurance Features

• Approximately 20" shorter flap to help reduce overall saddle weight

• 3 billet positions for greater girthing flexibility

• 2 stirrup iron bar positions to help customize rider balance and leg position

• Choice of adjustable thigh blocks or poleys

• Flexible leather tree

• Adjustable panels for individualized horse fit

• Deep, structured and secure seat

• Narrower waist/twist for rider comfort

• Multiple D-rings around the pommel and cantle for attaching trail and endurance gear

Horse Fit

The SP is generally best suited to horses with more straightforward toplines—particularly flatter backs rather than highly curved backs.

It may be less suitable for horses that are significantly uphill or downhill or horses whose available saddle-support area is particularly short in relation to the rider's required seat size.

Because the panels are adjustable, we will help determine the appropriate panel shape, width and length for your individual horse.

If you purchase before completing a fitting consultation with us, we will contact you to walk you through the process. Together, we'll determine your seat size and rider specifications, as well as the appropriate panel shape, length and width for your horse and any additional items you may need.

Try Before You Order

An approximately 18" English-equivalent seat SP is currently available in North America for trials. Contact us for current demo availability and trial information.

Production Time

SP Endurance saddles are custom made to order. Please allow approximately 6–8 weeks for production.
